Carol’s Weekly Wrap 4/12/22
Wednesday the Whackers played a single stableford and the winner was Les “I’m in hurry” Forde with a great score of 42pts, Les shot under his age with 90 off the stick. R/up was Mick McIlveen with 38pts. The orange ball went to Warwick Lindsay.
Thursday Vets played a single stableford and the winner was Susie Spenser with 34pts on a c/b from John Mitchell. We welcomed a visitor from Long Reef Golf Club.
Saturday we held a 2 person Ambrose for Mark and Deli Faulkner’s trophy, and the winners were Jon Izzard and Vicki Barraclough on a c/b from Greg Heaney and Shane Barraclough with 62.25. Talk about keeping it in the family.
From the 1st December our green fees have been increased to $25.00. We will also be starting a Hole in One competition on all Par 3’s; $1.00 will be put in from the green fees to build up the prize money for the “Hole in One”
Our twilight competition is coming to close for the year, the last round will be Friday 16th December and will resume on Tuesday 17th January 2023.
Wednesday 7th December is the Wednesday Whackers Cross Country Christmas Party.
Thursday 8th December is our Vets Christmas Party for those vets who have played golf on Thursdays during the year. If you haven’t and would like to attend the cost will be $25 a head. The sheet is on the noticeboard to put your name down by Wednesday 7th Dec. Any queries contact Marj Chappell.
Saturday the 10th of December is our volunteers Christmas Party, there is a sheet up on the noticeboard to put your names down for catering purposes.
Sunday the 18th of December is our huge Christmas raffles with lots of hams, turkeys and pork up for grabs. So come on down as Santa will be there also for the kiddies.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday mornings. Joker Jackpot is on Friday nights and the members draw is on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.

Wednesday Wackers 9.30am for 10am tee off…. $25.00 comp fees
Thursday Vets 9.30am for 10am tee off…………. $25.00 comp fees
Saturday 10am for 10.30 tee off……………………$25.00 comp fees
Sunday Juniors from 9.30am.
