Carol’s Weekly Wrap 24/3/24
Wednesday the Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 41pts was Doug McDonald on a c/b from Rhonda McIlveen. The orange ball went to Don Wallace.
Thursday Vets braved the cool weather and played a single stableford and the winner with 32pts was Vicki Holman, r/up was Malcom Turner with 22pts.. The encouragement award went to John Mitchell.
Saturday we held our Rescheduled Men’s Open 4BBB Stableford and the Nett winners with a massive score of 52pts were Troy Dawson and Josh Layton from Bundarra. Nett r/up were Trevor Murray and Guy Walker. Scratch winners were Tim Murray and Matt Bull from Armidale, scratch r/up were Trevor Carson and Craig “Hobbit” Hyde. 2nd Nett winners were Jon Izzard and Owen Presnell, 3rd nett winners were Phil Robinson and David Bayliss.
Sunday we held our Rescheduled Mixed Open 4BBB Par event and the Nett winners with +9 were Simone and David Sweeney from Walcha. Nett r/up were Mary Hyde and Trevor Carson from Armidale. 2nd Nett r/up were Rhonda and Mick McIlveen from Uralla. Scratch winners were Tim Murray and Judi Hansen from Armidale, scratch r/up were Craig Hyde and Louise Carson from Armidale.
Twilight Golf has now come to an end and our presentation BBQ will be held on Friday 5th April at 6pm.
For those who have Carts in the shed, your fees are due by the end of March. Fees as below:
Petrol Carts $250.00
Electric Carts $350.00

AS WE ARE GETTING LARGER FIELDS NOW PLAYING, CAN WE PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE GOLF ETIQUETTE OF SLOW PLAY. EG: KEEP UP TO THE GROUP IN FRONT, 3MIN LIMIT LOOKING FOR BALL, PLAY READY GOLF.
The Kitchen is open Tuesday – Sunday, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. No Sunday dinners, only lunch. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pick ups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club will be now open from 10am till late on Tuesdays to Sunday. Closed Mondays.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday mornings. Joker Jackpot is on Friday nights and the members draw is on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.
