Carol’s Weekly Wrap 27/4/22
Wednesday the Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford, the winner was Sam Smith with 40pts, runner up was Cooper Smith with 38pts. Talk about keeping it in the family, well done. We had visitors from Armidale and Maclean Golf Clubs.
Thursday Vets played a single stableford and the winner with 41pts was Gary Kelly from Port Macquarie, runner up was John Mitchell with 34pts. We welcomed visitors from Port Macquarie, Surfers Paradise and Harvey Golf Club.
Saturday we played a 4 Ball sponsored by Uralla Motor Mates and the winners with a great score of 45pts was Nick Ehsman, & Nicholas Lehman, runners up with 44pts were father and son team of Sam and Cooper Smith. NTP’s 3rd Duncan “Slim” McLean, 9th Steve Grills, 6th Marj Chappell, 15th Steve Grills and the 17th Dactyl Carlon. We welcomed visitors from Glenn Innes, Sawtell and Bay Islands Golf Club. The mars bar went to Steve Grills and Ross Schalk.
Our Veterans Week of Golf starts tomorrow Monday 25th April-Friday 29th April 2022. Welcome BBQ and registration evening tonight at 5pm for 5.30pm. Golf on Monday will start approx. 12pm due to the Anzac March in Uralla. Breakfast/Brunch will be available from the kitchen. Enjoy the week of golf.
Our AGM will be held on Saturday 30th April at 9.45 for a 10am start, golf competition will be played immediately after we wrap things up. We need all members to attend please.
Raffles are back onFriday nights and Sunday mornings.
