Carol’s Weekly Wrap 20/3/22
Wednesday the Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford, the winner of the day was John Smith with 35pts on a 3 way c/b from Geoff Wood and Tim Bower.
Thursday Vets played a single stableford and the winner with 32pts was Ian Duncan on a c/b from Mick McILveen.
Saturday and Sunday was our final rounds of the Championships and congratulations to all the winners. Vets winners were C-Grade Men’s Michael “The Mad Russian” Petrov, B-Grade Darrell Carson, A-Grade Dactyl Carlon. Ladies Vets A-Grade Vicki Barraclough, B-Grade Marj Chappell.
A-Grade Ladies Champion for 2022 was Vicki Barraclough. Nett winner was Carol Shields.
B-Grade Ladies Champion for 2022 was Marj Chappell. Nett winner was Mary Hyde.
A-Grade Men’s Champion for 2022 was Anthony “Shags” Connors, r/up was Jon Izzard. Nett winner was Dactyl Carlon.
B-Grade Champion for 2022 was Josh Clark, r/up was Dom Bower. Nett winner was Darrell Carson and r/up was Coady Hamilton.
C-Grade Champion for 2022 was Kim Burraston, r/up Nick Wallace. Nett winner was Michael Petrov.
Due to the rain that has washed out some Twilight rounds, we have decided to extend the completion date to the 1st April and the BBQ presentation will now held on Friday 8th April at 6pm. Would be great to see all the teams come and see if you are winners, even if you’re not in the running come along anyway.
Our Veterans Week of Golf is on Monday 25th April-Friday 29th April 2022. Entry forms are available at the club.
The raffles are back in full swing again on Friday nights and Sunday mornings. Tickets on sale from 6.30pm for Friday nights and for Sunday are from 11.30am.
