Carol’s Weekly Wrap 8/1/23
Happy 2023 everyone.
Wednesday 21st Dec the Whackers played a single stableford and the winner was Crewy Cameron with 43pts. R/up was Geoff Clutterbuck from Armidale with 42pts. The orange ball went to Neil Free. Wednesday 28th Dec the Whackers played a single stableford and the winner was Warren Sellings with 41pts on a c/b from Tony Duff. The orange ball went to Cooper Smith. Wednesday 4th Jan the Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 40pts was Michael Beck from Long Reef Golf Club on a c/b from Darrell Carson. The orange ball went to Mark Faulkner, this was Mark’s 1st game on a Wednesday and he said he won’t be back next week.
Thursday 22nd Dec Vets played a single stableford and the winner was Noelene Porter with 37pts, r/up on a c/b was John Mitchell from Susie Spenser with 31pts. Thursday 5th Jan the Vets tried to play a single stableford with some players being washed out after 13 holes. The winner was Vicki Barraclough with 33pts r/up was Colleen Taggart with 32pts. Good scores considering the wet conditions.
Saturday 24th Dec was a single stableford and the winner was David Baylis from Bathurst Golf Club with 39pts, r/up was Cooper Smith with 37pts on a c/b from Pete Doyle. The Mars Bar went to Ken Walkinshaw from Corowa Golf Club. Saturday 31st Jan was a single stableford and the winner with an amazing score of 47pts was Carol Shields, it was one of those days were nothing went wrong for her. R/up with 41pts was Todd Jacobs. The mars bar award went to Brodie Taggart from Maitland Golf Club. Saturday 7th Jan was a single stableford and the winner with 39pts was Jack Doran on a c/b from Dactyl Carlon. The mars bar went to Duncan Arthur.
