Just a few housekeeping rules starting tomorrow 11th October under the Public Health Order. Any person entering the clubhouse must be fully vaccinated, those not fully vaccinated can only enter the club for takeaway purposes. Fully vaccinated members may play golf in a group of 4 whilst not fully vaccinated may play in groups of 2. As we are planning on starting our twilight competition this week on the 12th, these conditions will be in place. Under the NSW Office of Sport and COVID 19 rules in Regional NSW, information has advised that if you’re not fully vaccinated you can participate in a gathering for sport or exercise with one other person that you do not live with. So get your teams in and let’s play as per the above restrictions until the 1st December when all will change again.
Last Wednesday the Wednesday Wacker’s played a single stableford and the winner with 39pts was Tim Bower, runner up was Bruce McMullen with 37pts. We had visitors from Sawtell Golf Club.
Thursday Vets played a single stableford with the winner on the day was Coleen Taggart with 37 pts, runner up was Graeme Andrews with 36 pts on a countback from Marj Chappell.
Saturday we played a single stableford sponsored by Tony Duff, the winner of the day was James Walkinshaw with 38pts and runner up was “The old Caption” (John Izzard) with 37pts. The Mars Bar went to Robbie Porter.
No results are in for the Sunday 9 hole comp today.
The raffles are back in full swing again on Friday nights and Sunday mornings. Tickets on sale from 6.30pm for Friday nights and for Sunday are from 11.30am.
Melbourne Cup Calcutta will be on Sunday 31st October 1.30pm start, just after the raffles. Kitchen will be open. 1st,2nd and 3rd prizes will be paid. Tickets $1.00

THE CLUBHOUSE WILL NOW BE OPEN MONDAY TO THURSDAY FROM 4PM TILL 7PM. $5 SCHOONERS AND $4 MIDDIES AVAILABLE.

Wednesday Wackers 9.30am for 10am tee off
Thursday Vets 9.30am for 10am tee off
Saturday 10am for 10.30 tee off
Sunday 9am to 10am 9 hole comp, social and twilight members are most welcome.
Next Saturday 16th October event will be announced during the week.
