Carol’s Weekly Wrap 7/1/24
Wednesday the Whackers had a great field of 42 players, and we played a single stableford and the winner with 42pts was Gary Higginbottom r/up with 41pts Todd Jacobs. The orange ball went to Steve Welbourn. We welcomed visitors from Armidale, Guyra, Walcha and Glen Innes.
Thursday Vets played a single stableford and the winner with 37pts was Marj Chappell, r/up was Jenny Lisle. The encouragement award went to Carole Peacock.
Saturday was a single stableford and the winner with 41pts was Josh Clarke, r/up was Geoff Clutterbuck with 39pts. The Mars Bar went to Carol Shields.
Twilight Golf will recommence on Tuesday 16th January.
Our new fees for 2024 are as follows:
Full Golfing Members $275.00
Country Members $110.00
Juniors $35.00
Social Golfers $27.50
All fees are due by the end of February, and if you haven’t received your renewal in the mail you can still pay at the bar to Ben. (Also, if anyone has changed their address, please let Ben know when paying).
The kitchen is now in full swing with our new caterer and new menu. If you haven’t tried the new menu you should come on out. The Kitchen is open Tuesday – Sunday, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. No Sunday dinners, only lunch. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pick ups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club will be now open from 10am till late on Tuesdays to Sunday. Closed Mondays.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday mornings. Joker Jackpot is on Friday nights and the members draw is on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.
For those wishing to play golf, the tee off times are as below:
Wednesday Whackers 9.30am for 10.00am tee off…. $25.00 comp fees
Thursday Vets 9.30am for 10.00am tee off…………… $25.00 comp fees
Saturday 9.30am for 10.00 tee off……………………… $25.00 comp fees
Sunday Juniors from 9.30am.
