Carol’s Weekly Wrap 6/3/22
Wednesday the Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford, the winner of the day was Peter Doyle with 39pts r/up was Tony Duff with 39pts. Dom Bower had a great shot 3 metres from the pin and he walked off with a miss, his 5th shot was an inch short of the hole.
Thursday Vets played a single stableford and the winner with 31pts on a c/b was Coleen Taggart from Neil Haynes.
Saturday was a 4BBB sponsored by Deb Douglas Family. The winners with a great score of 48 on c/b were Jason Brady and James Walkinshaw from Jason Barraclough and Dactyl Carlon. NTP’s 3rd Tim Bower, 6th Josh Clark, 9th Robbie Porter, 11th Dactyl Carlon, 15th Jason Brady and 17th Mary Hyde. The Mars Bar went to Sally Burraston and Les “I’m in a Hurry” Forde.
Twilight is nearing the end of the competition which the last day of play is the 25th March. The presentation BBQ will be on Friday 1st April at 6pm.
Our Club Championships will be held on 12th, 13th, 19th and 20th March 2022.
Our Veterans Week of Golf is on Monday 25th April-Friday 29th April 2022. Entry forms are available at the club.
The raffles are back in full swing again on Friday nights and Sunday mornings. Tickets on sale from 6.30pm for Friday nights and for Sunday are from 11.30am.
For those wishing to play golf, the tees off times are as below:
Wednesday Wackers 9.30am for 10am tee off
Thursday Vets 9.30am for 10am tee off
Saturday 10am for 10.30 tee off
Sunday 9 hole comp 8.45am and no later than 10.45am tee off.
SAVE THE DATE: 19TH MARCH WE WILL BE HAVING A SPECIAL GUEST (DOUG WALTERS) ATTENDING THE CLUB TO HAVE A BEER AND A CHAT WITH THE LOCALS. COST WILL BE $20 WHICH INCLUDES A PLATE OF FINGER FOOD.
