Carol’s Weekly Wrap 6/11/22
NO golf was played Wednesday or Thursday due to course being closed after so much rain.
Saturday we played a 4BBB sponsored by Jack Doran and Jon Izzard, we had a great field of 56 players. We welcomed visitors from Armidale. The winners on a c/b with 44pts were Sam Smith and Tony Duff from Duncan “Slim” McLean and Carol Shields. NTPs went to Tim Moffatt, Charlie Murray, Jason Brady, Ian Hoppie and Crewy Cameron. The encouragement award (Mars Bar) went to Graham Hicks and Des Burton from Armidale.
Yesterday we all wished Sir Les “I’m in a hurry” Forde a very happy 95th Birthday, and we are sure he will continue to celebrate this special milestone over the weekend.
The Uralla Open is fast approaching so be quick to get your names in. On Friday 25th November is the Veteran’s Open Singles, entries to be emailed to Mike Petrov on lone.petrov@gmail.com
Saturday 26th November is the Open Mixed 4BBB Par and entries to be emailed to urallagolfcomps@gmail.com If anyone is looking for a partner please let us know.
Sunday 27th November is he Open Men’s 4BBB Stableford and entries to be emailed as per email above for the mixed event.
Twilight is now into its 4th week and it has been noted that some players still haven’t joined as a social golfer, if you’re not a social member your score will not be recorded. Once the $25.00 is paid your score will be added for your team, don’ let your team down.
As of the 1st December our green fees will be increased to $25.00. We will also be starting a Hole in One competition on all Par 3’s; $1.00 will be put in from the green fees to build up the prize money for the “Hole in One”
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday mornings. Joker Jackpot is on Friday nights and the members draw is on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.

Wednesday Wackers 9.30am for 10am tee off…..$20.00 comp fees
Thursday Vets 9.30am for 10am tee off…………. $20.00 comp fees
Saturday 10am for 10.30 tee off……………………$20.00 comp fees
Sunday Juniors from 9.30am.
Next Saturday 12th November will be announced during the week due to changes in program from washed out games.
