Carol’s Weekly Wrap 5/12/21
Short and sweet golf report again this week, as the sky opened up for most of the week.
Saturday was a single stableford sponsored by Gary Mackaway, the winner with 38pts was Coady Hamilton runner up on a count back with 35pts was Tony Duff from Jason Brady.
The Teachers held their annual golf day with a great field of around 90 players from all around the state, and by all the reports heard they all had a fun day. We would like to thank you all for supporting the club, both on the course and the 19th hole. See you all again next year.
Our open weekend has been rescheduled for the 18th, 19th and 20th February 2022.
The raffles are back in full swing again on Friday nights and Sunday mornings. Tickets on sale from 6.30pm for Friday nights and for Sunday are from 11.30am.
THE CLUB HOUSE IS NOW OPEN 6 DAYS A WEEK FROM 10AM TILL 8PM.

For those wishing to play golf, the tees off times are as below:
Wednesday Wackers 9.30am for 10am tee off
Thursday Vets 9.30am for 10am tee off
Saturday 10am for 10.30 tee off
Sunday 9 hole comp will take a break until after Christmas due to the Twilight Competition.
Next Saturday’s 11th December is the Guzzlers Mug Final… those who have won a monthly event will compete for the Mug. The rest will play for the daily prize.
Sunday 12 December will be a 4 person Ambrose Charity Day raising money for The Cancer Council. This day will be a 9am turn up for 9.30am tee off. Cost for the day will be $30 and will include lunch. All Players Welcome.
Our Junior Golf Development Program will commence on Sunday 12th December at 9.30am.

We have a few events happening next month (December), so please put these dates into your calendar. If I have missed any, I will mention next week.
Wednesday 8th December is the Wednesday Whackers cross country Christmas Party.
Thursday 9th December is the Vets Christmas Party. Tee off will be 9 for 9.30 for this day only.
Saturday 11th December is the Volunteers and Members Christmas Party. Sheet is on notice board to put your names down for catering purposes.
Friday 17th December is last day of our twilight competition for the year, recommencing 18th January 2022.
Sunday 19th December is the clubs Huge Christmas Raffles. There will be lots of Hams, Turkeys and Pork up for grabs.
