Carol’s Weekly Wrap 30/4/23
Well what a week of golf we have had, there was play everyday from Monday to Saturday. We had over 120 players. There must be some weary golfers out there now.
Too many games to put all daily graded winners, so I have done with what I have.
Monday was an Irish 4BBB, but no results were given to me. Tuesday was a single stableford the ladies winner was Christine Noonan with 37pts on a c/b from Marilyn Williams. Mens winner was Chris Rose with 37pts r/up was Sam Ball with 36 on a 6way c/b. Wednesday the Whackers played a single stableford and the winner was Darrell Carson with 36pts r/up was Sam Smith with 33pts. Thursday was a single stableford and the ladies winner was Christine Noonan with 37pts r/up was Kathryn Guyer with 36pts on a c/b from Lee Daley. Mens winner was John Keiley with 38pts on a c/b from Rodger McDaniel. Friday was an Ambrose and the winners with 63 was Tommy Clifford and Greg Constance r/up was Kerry Bullen and Dactyl Carlon with 64. Congratulations to all the winners over the 4 days in our WOG. See you all next year. ALSO A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL THE SPONSORS OVER THE 4 DAYS.
Saturday was the Guzzlers Mug sponsored by Geoff Wood and the winner with 71 was Tim Bower r/up on a c/b was Tony Park with 72 from Neil Cullen. Not too many payers today as all golfed out.
Mother’s Day is coming up next month and we will be open for lunch, and it will be 2 courses which will include: Main is a choice of a Roast and Veg or Barramundi and Chips. Desert will be apple pie with custard or cream. A glass of wine for the mums on arrival. Cost will be $25.00 ahead and bookings are required by calling the club on 67784059 Tuesday to Sunday.
Just a reminder to all cart owners who have a cart in the shed, your yearly rental is due by end of this month. Please pay at the bar or by direct deposit, the details are on invoice which was issued a couple of weeks ago either by email or placed on your cart in shed.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pick ups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
Kitchen is now open from Tuesday – Sunday.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday mornings. Joker Jackpot is on Friday nights and the members draw is on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.

Thursday Vets 9.30am for 10am tee off…………. $25.00 comp fees
Saturday 10am for 10.30 tee off……………………$25.00 comp fees
