Carol’s Weekly Wrap 30/1/22

Here we are nearly one month of the new year already gone, were does the time go???

Wednesday the Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford, the winner of the day was Dactyl Carlon with 35pts, runner up on a 3 way c/b with 34pts was Ross Anderson from Bruce McMullen and Jack Doran.

Thursday Vets played the first round of pennants in Glen Innes, there was a huge field of 117 players from around the district. The greens were tuff to get use too, but we did manage to have a winner from Uralla, Carol Shields who came 3rd in the ladies. I do believe we had a winner in the raffles from Uralla men, well done Ross Anderson.

Saturday we played the Guzzlers Mug stroke event sponsored by Geoff Wood, the winner was Cheryl (Shane) Barraclough with 70 nett on a count back from Jason Brady. NTP’s 3rd Jason Brady, 9th Crewy Cameron, 15th Vicki Barraclough and the 17th Warren Sellings.  The Mars Bar winner was Sally Burraston.

Our open weekend has been rescheduled for the 18th (Vets), 19th (Mixed) and 20th (Men’s) February 2022. Nomination forms are up on the boards in the clubhouse or call the club during business hours to put your names down.
