Last Wednesday the Wednesday Wacker’s played a single stableford and the winner with 37pts on a 3 way countback was Bruce “the Gnome” McMullen, runner up on c/b was John Holman from Robbie Porter with 37pts. We had visitors from Sawtell Golf Club.

Thursday Vets played a single stableford with the winner on the day was James Walkinshaw with 32 pts, runner up was Mike McILveen with 31 pts.

Saturday we played a 4BBB sponsored by Chalkie (Rowan) Chandler, 36 players turned up to play on a very wet and soggy course from the huge storm we received on Friday afternoon The winners of the day were Sam Smith and Aaron Whackett with 40pts, runners up on a 3 way countback was Jason Brady and Dactyl Carlon from “The old Caption” (John Izzard) and Neil Bullen with 38pts.  NTP’s were Bruce “The Gnome” McMullen on the 15, Crewy Cameron on the 17th, Dactyl on the 11th  and Duncan McLean on the 9th.   The Mars Bar went to Les “I’m in a hurry” Forde and Sally Burraston.

Sunday’s 9 hole comp was won by Kerry Sellings on countback from Les “I’m in a hurry” Forde.  Good to see the increasing numbers turning up for the Sunday comp.  It’s been awhile since we’ve had Sunday competitions and with the help of all players turning up, this means we can continue again.
