Carol’s Weekly Wrap 29/10/23
Wednesday the Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 41pts was Neil Dark from Walcha on a c/b from Crewy “Barry” Cameron. The orange ball went to Adrien O’Brien.
Thursdays Vets played a single stableford and the winner with 45pts was Carole Peacock, r/up was Michael McIlveen with 41pts. The encouragement award went to Les “I’m in a hurry” Forde.
Saturday was The Guzzlers Mug and the winner with 66 was Jayson Ketley, r/up was Ross Anderson with 68. The Mars Bar went to Tony Duff. With all these great scores the course must be playing easy, hopefully we get some more rain to take out some of the run we have now.
The Shootout is being held again this year, all stableford scores during Sept/Oct will go towards a field of 19 qualifiers for a final to be held on Sunday 10th December. Nomination fee is $20 payable to Ross Anderson. The sheet is on the notice board to put your name down.
WE WILL BE HOLDING A GENERAL MEETING ON TUESDAY 21ST MOVEMBER 6PM. ALL WELCOME.
Our Open weekend will be starting on Friday 24th November. More details to come, so keep an eye out for more information as we get closer.
Our Tradies Golf Day will be on Friday 17th November.
The Calcutta will be held on Sunday 5th November.
A few SAVE the DATE events coming up: Saturday 9th December will be the Volunteers night to say thank you to all volunteers that help during the year. Sunday 17th December will be the Monster Christmas Raffles.
The kitchen is now in full swing with our new caterer and new menu. If you haven’t tried the new menu you should come on out. The Kitchen is open Tuesday – Sunday, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. No Sunday dinners, only lunch. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pick ups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club will be now open from 10am till late on Tuesdays to Sunday. Closed Mondays.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday mornings. Joker Jackpot is on Friday nights and the members draw is on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.
