Carol’s Weekly Wrap 28/8/22 & 4/9/22
Short report this week due to rain and no play.
Wednesday Whackers on 24th was washed out. Wednesday 31st the Whackers played a single stableford and the winner was Tim Bower with 38pts, r/up was Jim Walkinshaw with 37pts.
Thursday 25th the Vets played a single stableford and the winner was yet again our youngest player who played to his age Les “I’m in a hurry” Forde with 37pts, r/up was Warren Sellings with 34pts. Thursday 1st the Vets played a 4BBB and the winners were Karen and Paul Ketley.
Saturday 27th was the Guzzlers Mug sponsored by Geoff Wood and the winner was Karen Ketley with 69nett on a c/b from Warren Sellings, 3rd place went to no other than Les “I’m in a hurry” Forde with 70nett. The Mars Bar Award went to Kim Barraston. We welcomed visitors from Guyra Golf Club.
Saturday 3rd was washed out again. Hopefully the rain has gone for awhile.
Raffles are back onFriday nights and Sunday mornings.

Next Saturday 10th September to be advised during the week, due to some washout games.
