Carol’s Weekly Wrap 23/1/22
Wednesday the Wednesday Whackers was washed out after some playing only 2 holes.
Thursday Vets played a single stableford and the winner was Michael Welbourn with 32pts, runner up on a c/b was John Mitchell with 28pts from Marjorie Chappell.
Saturday we played a single stableford sponsored by Ross Anderson, this was the match play consolation event and the winner of this event was Cheryl (Shane) Barraclough with 37pts. The winner of the daily event was Warren Sellings with 37pts. NTP’s 3rd Cheryl (Shane) Barraclough, 6th John Izzard, 16th Duncan McLean, 17th Kim Burraston and 11th Aaron Whackett. Apparently according to his card, Tim Bower had a 1 on the 12th hole, this means he had an albatross which gave him 1/6. Goes to show you need to check your card when putting it through the system when a hole is missed, his score was actually a 6/1. The Mars Bar winner was Sally Burraston.
Our open weekend has been rescheduled for the 18th, 19th and 20th February 2022.
Our Club Championships will be held on 12th, 13th, 19th and 20th March 2022.
The raffles are back in full swing again on Friday nights and Sunday mornings. Tickets on sale from 6.30pm for Friday nights and for Sunday are from 11.30am.

Wednesday Wackers 9.30am for 10am tee off
Thursday Vets 9.30am for 10am tee off
Saturday 10am for 10.30 tee off
Sunday 9 hole comp 8.45am and no later than 10.45am tee off.
Next Saturday 29th January will be the Guzzlers Mug sponsored by Geoff Wood.
