Carol’s Weekly Wrap 22/10/23
Wednesday the Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 40pts was Neil Dark from Walcha, r/up with 39pts on a 3-way c/b was John Burns from Rodger Boyd and Neil Free. We welcomed visitors from Lismore, Urunga, Penrith, Byron Bay, Emerald Downs, Werris Creek, Armidale, and Walcha Golf Clubs.
Thursdays Vets played a single stableford and the winner with 41pts was Albert Egli r/up was Michael Petrov with 40pts. The encouragement award went to Karen Ketley.
Saturday was a single stableford and the winner with a massive score of 46pts was Michael Petrov, r/up was Tony Swilks with 44pts. The Mars Bar went to Warren Sellings.
The Shootout is being held again this year, all stableford scores during Sept/Oct will go towards a field of 19 qualifiers for a final to be held on Sunday 10th December. Nomination fee is $20 payable to Ross Anderson. The sheet is on the notice board to put your name down.
The Walcha Open is being held next weekend 28-29th October, would be good to see some representatives from Uralla Golf Club supporting this event. Mixed is on Saturday and Men’s on Sunday. Both events are a 4 Ball Par.
WE WILL BE HOLDING A GENERAL MEETING ON TUESDAY 21ST MOVEMBER 6PM. ALL WELCOME.
Our Open weekend will be starting on Friday 24th November. More details to come, so keep an eye out for more information as we get closer.
Our Tradies Golf Day will be on Friday 17th November.
The Calcutta will be held on Sunday 5th November.
A few SAVE the DATE events coming up: Saturday 9th December will be the Volunteers night to say thank you to all volunteers that help during the year. Sunday 17th December will be the Monster Christmas Raffles.
The kitchen is now in full swing with our new caterer and new menu. If you haven’t tried the new menu you should come on out. The Kitchen is open Tuesday – Sunday, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. No Sunday dinners, only lunch. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pick ups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club will be now open from 10am till late on Tuesdays to Sunday. Closed Mondays.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday mornings. Joker Jackpot is on Friday nights and the members draw is on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.
