Carol’s Weekly Wrap 21/11/21

After having a little time out for chillaxing, I am back to bring you my report, yes it has been a couple of weeks of no results. But here we go…..

Firstly I would like to thank everyone who has supported the club over the last couple of months whilst we were trialling our opening hours of 4-7pm.  We would like to welcome Brett Cohen to the club who will be opening the club 6 days from 10am till 8pm.

The Uralla Golf Club farewelled a very special member last week who will be missed by many.

RIP ‘Sparra’ Doug Taggart. Your funny sense of humour will stay with us forever.

Last Wednesday the Wednesday Wacker’s played a single stableford and the winner with 36pts on a c/b was Dom Bower from Jason Brady.

Thursday Vets winner was Noelene Porter on a c/b from Michael Welbourne with 35pts. It’s good to see more players’ turning up on Thursday’s to play in the vets day.

Saturday was The Guzzlers Mug sponsored by Geoff Wood and the winner with 69 nett was Rowan “Chalkie” Chandler, runner up with 70 nett was David Carlon.  The mars bar went to Sally Burraston. No NTP results given.

The raffles are back in full swing again on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.  Tickets on sale from 6.30pm for Friday nights and for Sunday are from 11.30am.

We are in the process of updating our members’ database with mobile numbers and email addresses, if any of your details have changed. There are forms at the bar to fill in.
