Carol’s Weekly Wrap 19/12/21

Well what a week it has been, the sun has been out and we can play golf again.

This will be my last report till after Christmas, so I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and an Awesome New Year.

Wednesday the whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 36pts was Tony Duff and runner up was Neil “Splitty” Cullen with 35pts.  We had a good field of 24 players turn up which was good considering the course was still a little damp from all the rain.

Thursday Vets winner was James Walkinshaw with a great score of 39pts and runner up was Geoff Wood with 38pts.

Saturday we played an Ambrose for Mark and Deli Faulkner’s ham day trophy, the winners were Jon “Ol Capitain himself” Izzard and Josh Clarke. Runners up were Shaun “Kmart” Northam and Jason Barraclough.  Thanks to everyone for their support on these golf days.

Sunday we had a 9 hole comp sponsored by Eric Le Messurier Plumbing and Gas and the prizes were drawn out of the hat, so congratulations to all the winners.  Thanks Eric for your support.
