Carol’s Weekly Wrap 18/6/23
Wednesday the Whackers played an American Foursomes in which was the coldest day everyone has played in. Only a handful of brave players turned up, and the winners were Trevor Carson & Chalkie Chandler with 73.625 r/up were Robbie Porter & Clutterbuck with 73.875.
Thursday Vets played a Par event, and the winner was Marj Chappell with -2 on a c/b from Coleen Taggart. Much better day to play than yesterday.
Saturday was a single stableford and the winner with 35pts was Jim Walkinshaw on a c/b from Duncan “Slim” McLean. The Mars Bar went to Tony Duff.
