Wednesday the Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 39pts was Vince Cohen, r/up was Tony Duff with 38pts. Les “I’m in a hurry” Forde shot under his age with 94 off the stick (37pts) well done Les. The orange ball went to Allan McFarlane.
Thursday Vets held the 2nd round of pennants, and the winners were Men’s A-Grade winner Craig Hulls with 39pts from Glen Innes, r/up was Ross King with 37pts from Walcha. B-Grade winner was Allan Jenkins with 39pts from Armidale, r/up was Doug McDonald with 38pts from Walcha. C-Grade winner was Len Stanley with 42pts from Guyra, r/up was Bill Heazlett with 35pts from Walcha. The lady winners were A-Grade winner was Jenny Lisle with 33pts from Walcha, r/up was Cheryl McDonald with 32pts from Walcha. B-Grade winner was Julieanne Dunn with 35pts from Glen Innes on a 3-way c/b from Jenny Rogers from Guyra and Debra Heffernan from Guyra.
The Vets Week of Golf will be the15th – 19th April, entries are now closed as we have reached capacity. There will be a waiting list if there are withdrawals.
Saturday was The Monthly Mug sponsored by Hahn 3.5 and the winner with 67 nett was Bruce McMullen, r/up was Anthony “Shags” Connors with 69 on a c/b from Todd Jacobs. The Mars Bar award went to Adrien O’Brien.

Our Championships will be held on 9/10th and 16/17th March.
Our 2023 Open has been rescheduled, Men’s Open Saturday 23rd March, Mixed Open Sunday 24th March. Entries by email to urallagolfcomps@gmail.com, Please NOTE: all entries to be emailed to this address only. This is a new event so you will have to renominate by email.
Our new fees for 2024 are as follows:
Full Golfing Members $275.00
Country Members $110.00
Juniors $35.00
Social Golfers $27.50

Just a reminder that all golf fees are due by end of February, if you are not a financial member by the 1st of March you are ineligible to play in any comps.
The Kitchen is open Tuesday – Sunday, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. No Sunday dinners, only lunch. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pick ups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club will be now open from 10am till late on Tuesdays to Sunday. Closed Mondays.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday mornings. Joker Jackpot is on Friday nights and the members draw is on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.
