Carol’s Weekly Wrap 16/4/23

Wednesday the Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 33pts on a c/b was Jim Walkinshaw from Michael Welbourn.  The orange ball went to Murray Kennedy on a c/b from Carol Shields.

Thursday Vets played in Guyra for the 4th round of pennants. Winners were Ladies Debra Heffernan r/up was Simone Sweeny. Mens A-Grade C. Hulls r/up Jackson Michael. B-Grade Paul Redden r/up Barry Hoad. C-Grade W. Sellings r/up Phil Devlin. Next and final round will be in Armidale.

Saturday was an American Foursomes sponsored by Josh Clark and Cody Hamilton, and the winners were Kiran Waters and Warren Sellings, r/up were Darrell Chandler and Tony Park. We welcomed visitors from Half Moon Golf Club.

Tuesday 25th is ANZAC Day and we will be having an ANZAC Day Breakfast from 8.30am at the club, Egg & Bacon Roll $8.00 or Continental Breakfast $15.00.

Mother’s Day is coming up next month and we will be open for lunch, and it will be 2 courses which will include: Main is a choice of a Roast and Veg or Barramundi and Chips. Desert will be apple pie with custard or cream. A glass of wine and a flower will be given to the mums on arrival.  Cost will be $25.00 ahead and bookings are required by calling the club on 67784059 Tuesday to Sunday.

Our Courtesy Bus is available for pick ups and drop offs, contact the club for details.

Kitchen is now open from Tuesday – Sunday.

Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday mornings. Joker Jackpot is on Friday nights and the members draw is on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.

Wednesday Wackers 9.30am for 10am tee off…. $25.00 comp fees

Thursday Vets 9.30am for 10am tee off…………. $25.00 comp fees

Saturday 10am for 10.30 tee off……………………$25.00 comp fees
