Carol’s Weekly Wrap 15/1/23
Wednesday the whackers played a single stableford and the winner with a fantastic score of 39pts was Duncan Arthur. Duncan hasn’t had a score like this for such a long time, so good to see he can still do it. R/up on a c/b was Jack Doran also with 39pts. The orange ball went to Geoff Clutterbuck.
Thursday the Vets played a single stableford and the winner on a c/b from her playing partner was Karen Ketley with 41pts, r/up was Marj Chappell.
Saturday was a Par event sponsored by “The Mad Russian” Mike Petrov, the winner on a c/b was Jim Walkinshaw with +4 from Michael Woo. The encouragement award “the Mars Bar” went Brandon Thrift who had -13.
Just a little reminder that memberships are now overdue and must be paid by 31st January. If you haven’t paid by then you will be unfinancial and cannot claim any trophies and run the risk of your Golflink being de-activated. The fees for full members are $390.00, social members $25.00 and clubhouse $5.00. All twilight social players fees are also due for 2023.
Twilight golf resumes on Tuesday 17th January.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday mornings. Joker Jackpot is on Friday nights and the members draw is on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.
