Carol’s Weekly Wrap 13/11/22
Wednesday the Whackers played a single stableford and the winner on a 4 way c/b was Richard Cannon with 35pts from Tony Duff, Darrell Carson and Ken McMillan. We welcomed visitors from Sawtell Golf Club and Armidale Golf Club.
Thursday the Vets played a single stableford and the winner was Noelene Porter with 37pts, r/up with 34pts was Vicki Barraclough. NTP was Carol Shields.
Saturday we played a 3 person Ambrose sponsored by Julie and Owen Presnell and Simon Cross from Walcha, and the winners with a great score of 57.333 were Father and daughter team of “The Big Birthday Boy” Les “I’m in a hurry” Forde and Sally Burraston and Simon Cross. R/up were Kiran Walters, Warren Sellings and Todd Jacobs with 58.167. The encouragement award (Mars Bar) went to our visitors from Kempsey Golf club Justine Higgins, Deniece Dyet and Jessica Prichard. We welcomed lady visitors from Armidale and Kempsey Golf Clubs.
The Uralla Open is fast approaching so be quick to get your names in. On Friday 25th November is the Veteran’s Open Singles, entries to be emailed to Mike Petrov on lone.petrov@gmail.com
Saturday 26th November is the Open Mixed 4BBB Par and entries to be emailed to urallagolfcomps@gmail.com If anyone is looking for a partner please let us know as we have some players looking for a partner. Both male and female.
Sunday 27th November is he Open Men’s 4BBB Stableford and entries to be emailed as per email above for the mixed event.
We have a raffle running which will be drawn on Sunday 27th after the men’s open. These prizes have been greatly donated by Ryan Kelso from Kelso Services. 1st prize is a Golf GPS, 2nd prize is a golf bag and umbrella. Tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00 and are available at the bar.
As of the 1st December our green fees will be increased to $25.00. We will also be starting a Hole in One competition on all Par 3’s; $1.00 will be put in from the green fees to build up the prize money for the “Hole in One”
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday mornings. Joker Jackpot is on Friday nights and the members draw is on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.
