Carol’s Weekly Wrap 20/3/23
Wednesday the whackers played a single stableford and the winner was Warren Sellings with 38pts r/up was Duncan “Slim” McLean with 33pts. The orange ball went to Murray Kennedy. We welcomed visitors from Armidale and Port Vila.
Thursday the Vets played a single stableford and the winner was Michael Welbourn with 40pts, r/up was Lindsey Gosper from Port Vila with 37pts.
We played the last round of the Club Championships on the weekend and the winners were, Men’s A-Grade Champion was Shane Barraclough r/up was Dactyl Carlon. B-Grade Champion was Josh Clarke r/up was Shaun Northam. C-Grade Champion was Ross Anderson r/up was Scott Mathews. Nett winners were A-Grade men Aaron Whackett, B-Grade men Pete Doyle, C-Grade men Kaleb Doran. Ladies Champion was Vicki Barraclough, Nett winner was Coleen Taggart. Congratulations to all winners and it was good to see a great numbers turn up each day. One of the men had to withdraw halfway round on the last day due to being hit in the shoulder with a stray tee shot from another player. Hope you recover quickly.
The Vets Week of Golf is back again this year, Monday 23rd April – Friday 28th April. Flyers and entry forms are available at the club and will also be available on website soon.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pick ups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
Kitchen is now open from Tuesday – Sunday.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday mornings. Joker Jackpot is on Friday nights and the members draw is on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.
