Wednesday the Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 35pts was Herb McMillan on a c/b from Duncan Arthur. The orange ball went to Crewy Cameron
Thursday Vets played a single stableford and the winner with 37pts was Mandy Stoddart, r/up was Coleen Taggart. The encouragement award went to Les “I’m in a hurry” Forde.
Our next round of Vets Pennants will be in Glen Innes on the 28th of March, please put your names down on the sheet at the club next time you are out there as entries need to be in by next Tuesday.
Our Club Championships were held over the last 2 weekends and the results are as follows:
Men’s A-Grade Champion was Anthony “Shags” Connors, R/up was Trevor Carson (Trevor was also the Vets Champion). B-Grade Champion was Rowan (Chalkie) Chandler, r/up was Tom Bower.
C-Grade Champion was Cooper Smith (Cooper was also the Junior Champion), r/up was Warren Sellings.
Men’s Nett Winners were A-Grade Ben Jones, B-Grade was Scott Matthews, C-Grade was Warren Sellings.
Ladies A-Grade Champion was Coleen Taggart, (Coleen also was the Vets Champion) B-Grade Champion was Carol Shields, r/up was Marj Chappell, C-Grade Champion was Mandy Stoddart, r/up was Susie Spencer. The Nett winners were B-Grade Deli Faulkner, C-Grade Susie Spencer.
Also, Congratulations to all the daily winners of the 4 rounds, it was good to see a good field every day.
THIS WEEK IS ALSO THE LAST WEEK FOR TWILIGHT PLAYERS. BBQ PRESENTATION NIGHT IS FRIDAY 5TH APRIL AT 6PM.
AS WE ARE GETTING LARGER FIELDS NOW PLAYING, CAN WE PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE GOLF ETIQUETTE OF SLOW PLAY. EG: KEEP UP TO THE GROUP IN FRONT, 3MIN LIMIT LOOKING FOR BALL, PLAY READY GOLF.
Our 2023 Open has been rescheduled, Men’s Open Saturday 23rd March, Mixed Open Sunday 24th March. Entries by email to urallagolfcomps@gmail.com, Please NOTE: all entries to be emailed to this address only. This is a new event so you will have to renominate by email.

The Kitchen is open Tuesday – Sunday, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. No Sunday dinners, only lunch. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pick ups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club will be now open from 10am till late on Tuesdays to Sunday. Closed Mondays.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday mornings. Joker Jackpot is on Friday nights and the members draw is on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.
