Carol’s Weekly Wrap 16/1/22
Wednesday the Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford and we had 29 players and the winner Michael Welbourne with 39pts and runner up was Neil Bullen with 35pts. We welcomed visitors from Sawtell and Walcha Golf Clubs. For the first time a lady golfer won the orange ball, she needs to use it for the next round and then pass it onto the next player who comes last in the field. It gets passed around all year so you can imagine the state of the ball at the final round? (If it doesn’t end up in the dam during a round)
Thursday Vets played a single stableford and the winner on a c/b was John Mitchell from Carol Shields with 31pts. The NTP was John Holthouse
Saturday we played a Medley American Foursomes sponsored by Kmart (Shaun Northam), Herbie McMillian and Jason Barraclough and the winner was Cody Hamilton and Josh Clarke and runners up were Dactyl Carlon and Neil (Bullo) Bullen. NTP winners were James Walkinshaw, Crewy Cameron, Cody Hamilton and Bullo. Apparently the sponsors went out and played a single stableford when in fact they put on the Medley American Foursomes event. The rules of the game where mentioned before teeing off and obviously it didn’t make sense to some players.
The Junior Golf Development Program on Sunday mornings has attracted quite a few new and upcoming golfers, this is so good to see and it’s not too late to come on down on Sunday mornings at 9.30am and join the other junior golfers.
Twilight comp will resume next Tuesday 18th January 2022.
Our open weekend has been rescheduled for the 18th, 19th and 20th February 2022.
Our Club Championships will be held on 12th, 13th, 19th and 20th March 2022.
The raffles are back in full swing again on Friday nights and Sunday mornings. Tickets on sale from 6.30pm for Friday nights and for Sunday are from 11.30am.
THE CLUB HOUSE IS NOW OPEN 6 DAYS A WEEK FROM 10AM TILL 8PM.

Saturday 10am for 10.30 tee off
Sunday 9 hole comp 9am for 9.30 tee off.
On the 23rd January at 11am we will be holding a bare foot bowls day at the Uralla Bowling Club. This is a thank you day for the use of their courtesy bus. This means there will be no Sunday raffles at the club on this day, we hope you all will support this day and come on down for a great day of fun and laughs.
