Carol’s Weekly Wrap 12/10/24
Wednesday Whackers was washed out after a few holes played.
Thursday Vets played a single stableford event and the winner with 36pts Mandy Stoddart, r/up with 32pts was Mick McIlveen. The encouragement award went to Carol Shields.
Saturday was a single stableford event sponsored by Tony Park. The winner with 42pts was Mick McIlveen, r/up was Gerry Davis with 41pts. The Mars Bar Award went to Jimmy Walkinshaw.
The Twilight comp started on Tuesday 8th October. For all new players and previous non full golfing members, you must be a twilight member to play. So, if you haven’t already paid your $27.50 to Ben please do so before teeing off for this competition. There will be a twilight only members draw every Thursday night starting at $100.00 and will jackpot each week if not won. You must be at the club to be able to win. IT HAS BEEN NOTED THIS WEEK THAT SOME PLAYERS HAVE NOT PAID THEIR $10 GREEN FEES. NO RECEIPTS FOR ALL PLAYERS MEANS NO SCORE FOR THAT WEEK UNTIL PAID. ALSO, SOME PLAYERS ARE USING THEIR SCORES FROM WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY COMPS. AS IT’S A TWILIGHT COMP, AFTER 4PM IS TWILIGHT TIME TO PLAY. WE UNDERSTAND NOT ALL CAN PLAY AFTER 4PM DUE TO ONE REASON OR ANOTHER, BUT PLEASE TRY.
We are going to trial new tee times for the Saturday comps, starting on 14th September we will have extended tee off times, anywhere between 10am up till 12.30pm, if you choose a later option you must organise your own group – preferably a minimum of 3 players. Times prior to 10am available by arrangement.

AS WE ARE GETTING LARGER FIELDS NOW PLAYING, CAN WE PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE GOLF ETIQUETTE OF SLOW PLAY. EG: KEEP UP TO THE GROUP IN FRONT, 3MIN LIMIT LOOKING FOR BALL, PLAY READY GOLF.
Our golf competition fees are now $20.00 per comp round. Wednesday Whackers, Thursday Vets and Saturday Comps. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.
The Kitchen is open Tuesday – Sunday, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. No Sunday dinners, only lunch. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pickups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club will be now open from 10am till late on Tuesdays to Sunday. Closed Mondays.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday afternoon. Joker Jackpot is on Friday night.
