Carol’s Weekly Wrap 9/4/23
HAPPER EASTER EVERYONE:
Wednesday the Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 35pts was Gary Dowdell, r/up was Herbie McMillan with 32pts. The orange ball went to C-Grade Champion Ross Anderson.
Thursday Vets played a single stableford and the winner was Darrell Carson with 35pts r/up with 32 pts was Coleen Taggart. Next Thursday is the Vets Pennants at Guyra and we need some more players if your available as we have quite a few players away due to other commitments. Names to Coleen by Tuesday at the latest.
Saturday was a single stableford and the winner with 37pts was Jayson Ketley r/up on a c/b was Josh Clark from Sam Smith with 35pts. The Mars Bar Award went to Mary Hyde. We welcomed visitors from Armidale and Ballina.
The Vets Week of Golf is back again this year, Monday 23rd April – Friday 28th April. Flyers and entry forms are available at the club and on the website. Entries closing soon.
Our AGM will be held on Sunday 16th April at 10am, there are still some spots available to become a board member. Please put your name on the nomination sheet if you want to be on the board for this year. This is a great opportunity for someone who hasn’t sat on the board before. Nominations close on Tuesday so if you haven’t put your name down please do so asap.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pick ups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
Kitchen is now open from Tuesday – Sunday.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday mornings. Joker Jackpot is on Friday nights and the members draw is on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.
