Carol’s Weekly Wrap 6/10/24
Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 38pts was Vicki Barraclough, r/up with 36pts was David ‘Oscar” Ayre. The orange ball went to Duncan Arthur.
Thursday Vets played a single stableford event and the winner with 35pts was Mick McIlveen, r/up with 33pts on a c/b was Jack Mitchell from Carol Shields. The encouragement award went to Coleen Taggart.
Saturday was the Hahn Super Dry Monthly Mug and the winner with 67nett was Geoff Wood on a c/b from Crewy Cameron. The Marrs Bar Award went to Mick McIlveen.
The Twilight comp starts on Tuesday 8th October. We have a few teams nominated, so if you still want to put in a team, please do so by this Friday. Also, for all new players and previous non full golfing members, you must be a twilight member to play. So, if you haven’t already paid your $27.50 to Ben please do so before teeing off for this competition. There will be a twilight only members draw every Thursday night starting at $100.00 and will jackpot each week if not won. You have to be at the club to be able to win.
We are going to trial new tee times for the Saturday comps, starting on 14th September we will have extended tee off times, anywhere between 10am up till 12.30pm, if you choose a later option you must organise your own group – preferably a minimum of 3 players. Times prior to 10am available by arrangement.

AS WE ARE GETTING LARGER FIELDS NOW PLAYING, CAN WE PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE GOLF ETIQUETTE OF SLOW PLAY. EG: KEEP UP TO THE GROUP IN FRONT, 3MIN LIMIT LOOKING FOR BALL, PLAY READY GOLF.
Our golf competition fees are now $20.00 per comp round. Wednesday Whackers, Thursday Vets and Saturday Comps. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.
The Kitchen is open Tuesday – Sunday, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. No Sunday dinners, only lunch. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pickups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club will be now open from 10am till late on Tuesdays to Sunday. Closed Mondays.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday afternoon. Joker Jackpot is on Friday night.
