Carol’s Weekly Wrap 5/11/23
Wednesday the Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 43pts was Warren Sellings, r/up was Duncan Arthur with 42pts. The orange ball went to Neil Dark from Walcha.
Thursdays Vets played a single stableford and the winner with 40pts was Tony “Popeye” Whiting, r/up was Shane Barraclough with 39pts. The encouragement award went to Marg Macready.
Saturday was a single stableford and the winner was Marj Chappell with 42pts, r/up on a 5-way c/b was Tony Park with 38pts from Duncan Arthur, Geoff Wood, Jayson Ketley and Jon Izzard. The Mars Bars Award went to Les “I’m in a hurry’ Forde. As Sir Les will be turning 96 on Tuesday we all from the Golf Club would like to wish him a VERY HAPPY SPECIAL BIRTHDAY. Les is an inspiration to us all.
The Shootout final to be held on Sunday 10th December.
WE WILL BE HOLDING A GENERAL MEETING ON TUESDAY 21ST NOVEMBER 6PM. ALL WELCOME. THE BUSINESS OF THE MEETING IS THE PROPOSED AMALGAMATION WITH ARMIDALE EX-SERVIES CLUB. PLEASE COME OUT AND SHOW YOUR SUPPORT.

A few SAVE the DATE events coming up: Saturday 9th December will be the Volunteers night to say thank you to all volunteers that help during the year. Sunday 17th December will be the Monster Christmas Raffles.
The kitchen is now in full swing with our new caterer and new menu. If you haven’t tried the new menu you should come on out. The Kitchen is open Tuesday – Sunday, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. No Sunday dinners, only lunch. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pick ups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club will be now open from 10am till late on Tuesdays to Sunday. Closed Mondays.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday mornings. Joker Jackpot is on Friday nights and the members draw is on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.
