Carol’s Weekly Wrap 3/11/24
Wednesday Whackers we had a massive field of 54 players, and it was single stableford event and the winner with 43pts was Warren Sellings, r/up was Bruce McMullen. The orange ball went to Jim Walsh.
Thursday Vets played a single stableford event and the winner with 41pts was Greg LeMessurier, r/up with 36pts was Mick McIlveen. The encouragement award went to Susie Spencer.
Saturday was our first round of The Servies Challenge Match between Uralla and Armidale, we had another great field of 48 players. The winner with 43pts was Kirin Walters and r/up with 41pts was Craig Ball. Uralla won the challenge with 414 from Armidale with 405. This event will be an annual event being held on the 1st weekend in November. The Mars Bar Award went to Todd Jacobs.
The Twilight Members draw is on Thursday Nights. You must be in the club to win.
Please use your same handicap this week as last as I won’t have time to do before Tuesday afternoon as I will be in Tamworth for the day.
We are going to trial new tee times for the Saturday comps, starting on 14th September we will have extended tee off times, anywhere between 10am up till 12.30pm, if you choose a later option you must organise your own group – preferably a minimum of 3 players. Times prior to 10am available by arrangement.
AS WE ARE GETTING LARGER FIELDS NOW PLAYING, CAN WE PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE GOLF ETIQUETTE OF SLOW PLAY. EG: KEEP UP TO THE GROUP IN FRONT, 3MIN LIMIT LOOKING FOR BALL, PLAY READY GOLF.
Our golf competition fees are now $20.00 per comp round. Wednesday Whackers, Thursday Vets and Saturday Comps. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.
The Kitchen is open Tuesday – Sunday, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. No Sunday dinners, only lunch. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pickups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club will be now open from 10am till late on Tuesdays to Sunday. Closed Mondays.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday afternoon. Joker Jackpot is on Friday night.
