Carol’s Weekly Wrap 29/9/24
Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 41pts was Les “I’m in a hurry” Forde, Les shot under his age again with 95 of the stick, r/up with 38pts was Clarrie Moran from Armidale. The Orange Ball went to Rhonda McIlveen.
Thursday Vets played a single stableford event and the winner with 34pts was Susie Spencer, r/up with 32pts was Rhonda McIlveen. The encouragement award went to Mick McIlveen.
Saturday was washed out. This gave us a chance to core all the greens which has now been completed. A huge thank you to all the volunteers who gave up their time to help Shaun, without your help this would not have been possible. Thank you again.
The Twilight comp will start again on Tuesday 8th October. Also, there are some rule changes so please read the comp rules sheet which will be attached to your nomination form. The nomination forms are now available at the bar, if you have more than 7 players, please consider entering another team. There are only a few teams who have nominated, so if you are considering playing please put your nominations in by Friday 4th October so all handicaps and teams will be available on Tuesday ready for play.
We are going to trial new tee times for the Saturday comps, starting on 14th September we will have extended tee off times, anywhere between 10am up till 12.30pm, if you choose a later option you must organise your own group – preferably a minimum of 3 players. Times prior to 10am available by arrangement.

AS WE ARE GETTING LARGER FIELDS NOW PLAYING, CAN WE PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE GOLF ETIQUETTE OF SLOW PLAY. EG: KEEP UP TO THE GROUP IN FRONT, 3MIN LIMIT LOOKING FOR BALL, PLAY READY GOLF.
Our golf competition fees are now $20.00 per comp round. Wednesday Whackers, Thursday Vets and Saturday Comps. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.
The Kitchen is open Tuesday – Sunday, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. No Sunday dinners, only lunch. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pickups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club will be now open from 10am till late on Tuesdays to Sunday. Closed Mondays.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday afternoon. Joker Jackpot is on Friday night.
