THE FRIDAY NIGHT RAFFLES WILL BE ON THURSDAY NIGHT THIS WEEK DUE TO A PRIVATE FUNTION ON THE FRIDAY NIGHT.
The weather allowed us back onto the course last week. Lots of Happy Golfers.
Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 30pts was Jim Walkinshaw, r/up on a c/b with 29pts was Russell Evans from Clarrie Moran from Armidale. The orange ball went to Scot McLeod.
Thursday Vets played a single stableford and the winner 34pts was Mick McIlveen, r/up with 29pts on a c/b was Jack Mitchell from Vicki Barraclough. The encouragement award went to Coleen Taggart.
Saturday was the first round of the 4BBB Championships and the men’s winners were Trevor Murray and Guy Walker with 43pts on a c/b from Tony Park and Mick McIlveen. The lady winners were Marj Chappell and Margaret Macready with 42pts, r/up were Marlene McLeod and Rhonda McIlveen. The final round will be on the Saturday 7th September. The Mars Bars Award went to Deli Faulkner and Carol Shields.
Sunday was the Mixed Keno Qualifier, and the winners were Marj Chappell and Anthony Connors, r’s/up on a c/b was Duncan McLean and Carol Shields from Deli Faulkner and Mark Faulkner. The encouragement award went to Rhonda and Mick McIlveen.

AS WE ARE GETTING LARGER FIELDS NOW PLAYING, CAN WE PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE GOLF ETIQUETTE OF SLOW PLAY. EG: KEEP UP TO THE GROUP IN FRONT, 3MIN LIMIT LOOKING FOR BALL, PLAY READY GOLF.
Our golf competition fees are now $20.00 per comp round. Wednesday Whackers, Thursday Vets and Saturday Comps. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.
The Kitchen is open Tuesday – Sunday, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. No Sunday dinners, only lunch. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pickups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club will be now open from 10am till late on Tuesdays to Sunday. Closed Mondays.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday afternoon. Joker Jackpot is on Friday night.
