Carol’s Weekly Wrap 24/5/26
Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 32pts was Peter Schultzz, r/up was Murray Kennedy with 31pts on a c/b from Gavin Strelitz. Must have been a little hard out there today due to the most needed rain we had over the last 2 days. The encouragement award went to Rhonda McIlveen.
Thunderbolt’s Thirsty Thursday Medley played a single stableford and the winner with 36pts was Coleen Taggart, r/up was Jack Mitchell with 33pts. The encouragement award went to Scot McLeod.
Saturday was a single stableford sponsored by Dom and Tom Bower and the winner with 36pts was Tim Beaumont on a 3-way c/b from Dactyl Carlon and Neil Cullen. The Mars Bar went to a visitor from Gunnedah Jessica Pickering.
Just a heads up the crows are out and about along the 16th fairway and green, they took 9 balls in 2 groups yesterday.
Sunday 9-hole social golf is back and adults tee off 10-11am, juniors 11am. If you’re a regular golfer or just want to start out, come along and have relaxed round as you don’t need a handicap. Bring your friends, meet new players and just enjoy a friendly round. Cost is only $5 for the 9 holes.
Thursday nights the kitchen does a curry night with different dishes each week. You can also order of the menu if you don’t want curries.
Our golf competition fees are now $20.00 per comp round. Wednesday Whackers, Thursday and Saturday Comps. All our golf times are 9.30am for 10am tee off. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.
The Kitchen is open 7 days a week, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pickups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club house is now open 7 days a week.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday afternoon. Joker Jackpot is on Friday night.
