Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 39pts was Dom Bower, r/up with 37pts was Jimmy Walkinshaw on a c/b from Mick McIlveen. The encouragement award went to Crewy Cameron.
Thursday was the final round of our interclub Vets Pennants held at Glen Innes and results are Men’s A-Grade winner Brian Paine with 40pts, r/up Wayne Brennan 37pts, 3rd Trevor Murray 37pts, B-Grade winner Greg McLaren 40pts, r/up Geoff Wood 39pts, 3rd Neil Paine 39pts. C-Grade winner Guy Walker 39pts, r/up Len Stanley 38pts, 3rd Wallace Chapman 38pts.
Ladies A-Grade Shirley Lockwood 41pts, r/up Rose Price 37pts, 3rd Donna Martin 37pts. B-Grade winner Karen Ketley 41pts, r/u Carol Shields 40pts, 3rd Margaret Macready 39pts.

So, what does this all mean, well Uralla won on Glen Innes Course which makes Uralla the overall 2026 Vets Pennant Champions. Well done team for such a great turn up every round and this is the 1st time ever to win this event. A huge thank you to Oscar and Darrell for the work put into organising players, carts etc. Till next year….
Saturday was an American Foursomes sponsored by Gerry Davis an Jonno Rogers, and the winners with a score of 66.875 was Shane “Moon” Barraclough and Trevor Carson, r/up with 68.625 was Chalkie Chandler and Dactyl Carlon. The Mars Bar Award went to Steve Teege and Nik McRae.
Cart shed fees are also due by 31st March, please Ben for new form to fill when paying.
Thursday nights the kitchen does a curry night with different dishes each week. You can also order of the menu if you don’t want curries.
Our golf competition fees are now $20.00 per comp round. Wednesday Whackers, Thursday and Saturday Comps. All our golf times are 9.30am for 10am tee off. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.
The Kitchen is open 7 days a week, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pickups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club house is now open 7 days a week.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday afternoon. Joker Jackpot is on Friday night.
