Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 39pts was Paul Ketley, r/up was Rowan Chandler with 38pts, the encouragement award went to Aiden Smith.
Thursday’s Thunderbolt Medley played a single stableford and the winner with 44pts was Rhonda McIlveen, r/up was Sue Partridge from Walcha, the encouragement award went to Rhonda’s husband Mick McIlveen..
Saturday was a single stableford sponsored by JBK Construction and the winner with 38pts was Rowan Chandler on a c/b from Johnno Rogers. The Mars Bar went to Carol Shields.
Happy 98th Birthday to our beloved golfer Sir Les “I’m in a hurry” Forde, Les celebrated his birthday on the 6th of November.
Our Open Weekend is coming up at the end of the month, so ger your entries in by emailing wog@urallagolfclub.com.au The Veteran’s Open Singles in on Friday 28th, Mixed 4BBB Par is on Saturday 29th and the Men’s Open 4BBB Par is on Sunday 30th November. Entries close Friday 21st November, late entries will be taken if field size permits. If you require a cart/seat, please add this to your email.
Thursday nights the kitchen does a curry night with different dishes each week. You can also order of the menu if you don’t want curries.
Our golf competition fees are now $20.00 per comp round. Wednesday Whackers, Thursday and Saturday Comps. All our golf times are 9.30am for 10am tee off. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.
AS WE ARE HAVING MORE PLAYERS AND SOCIAL PLAYERS ON OUR COURSE. PLEASE REMEMBER TO TAKE A SAND BUCKET WITH YOU AND FILL IN ANY DIVOTS ON THE FAIWAYS AND FIX PLUG MARKS ON THE GREENS. ALSO, IF YOU ARE A SOCIAL PLAYER, PLEASE PLAY OFF THE BLUE MARKERS.
The Kitchen is open 7 days a week, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pickups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club house is now open 7 days a week.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday afternoon. Joker Jackpot is on Friday night.
