Carol’s Weekly Wrap 15/2/26
On the 4th of February, Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 42pts was Barry “Crewy” Cameron, r/up with 40pts was Tony Duff. The encouragement award went to Craig “Hobbit” Hyde.
Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 37pts was Josh Jennings on a c/b from Dean Vickery. The encouragement award went to Darrell Carson, “apparently Darrell has never won the Mars Bar before in his whole golfing career”. See there is a first time for everything.
Saturday was a 2 Person Ambrose sponsored by Oscar Ayre and Greg LeMessurier and the winners with 63.5 were Matt Marquardt and Tony Duff, r/up were Scott Matthews and Jason Brady. The Mars Bar Award went to Ross Anderson and Marj Chappell.
For those who had the pleasure knowing Leonie “Lone” Petrov, her funeral will be held on Monday 16th at Uralla Uniting Church at 10.30am
Save the date: Saturday 28th February is our presentation night, there is a sheet up on the notice board to place your names for catering purposes.
The sheet is up on the board for our Championships which will be held on 7th/8th and 14th/15th March.
Cart shed fees are also due by 31st March, please Ben for new form to fill when paying.
Thursday nights the kitchen does a curry night with different dishes each week. You can also order of the menu if you don’t want curries.
Our golf competition fees are now $20.00 per comp round. Wednesday Whackers, Thursday and Saturday Comps. All our golf times are 9.30am for 10am tee off. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.
AS WE ARE HAVING MORE PLAYERS AND SOCIAL PLAYERS ON OUR COURSE. PLEASE REMEMBER TO TAKE A SAND BUCKET WITH YOU AND FILL IN ANY DIVOTS ON THE FAIWAYS AND FIX PLUG MARKS ON THE GREENS. ALSO, IF YOU ARE A SOCIAL PLAYER, PLEASE PLAY OFF THE BLUE MARKERS.
The Kitchen is open 7 days a week, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pickups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club house is now open 7 days a week.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday afternoon. Joker Jackpot is on Friday night.
