Carol’s Weekly Wrap 10/4/22
Wednesday the Wednesday Whackers played an American Foursomes sponsored by Duncan Arthur, the winners were Neil “Freezer” Free and Michael Welbourn with 69, runners up were John Smith and Robbie Porter with 72. It seems that Freezer learnt a lot from last week’s round and came up a winner again.
Thursday Vets played a Mulligan and the winner on a c/b with 34pts was Margaret Macready from Noelene Porter, Susie Spencer came 3rd. NTP was “I’m in a Hurry” Les Forde. Looks like the ladies cleaned up today (Not you Les).
Saturday was a BAM sponsored by Marj Chappell and Family in memory of Chicky Chappell. The winners were Aaron Whackett and Harley Carlon with a great score of 74, runners up on a 3 way c/b with 57pts were Jason Ketley and Coady Hamilton from Paul “Strop” Bullen and Carol Shields. Most of the NTP’s were won by the ladies, Karen Ketley Colleen Taggart and Carol Shields. The other NTP’s were by 2 of the men. (sorry I forgot to write down the names).
The Twilight competition has come to an end the winners overall in the red team was The Long Shots, the runners up were Richo’s Stix. The winners in the Green team were The Battlers and the runners up were On The Buses. There were 5 monthly prizes each with winners and runners up, way too many to mention. But Thank you to all the players and the Sponsors (DM Building and Maintenance, Pro-Concrete, DelMark, Armidale Air Conditioning & Uralla Motor Mates), without you all we wouldn’t be able to run the twilight competition, so please come and join us in the next round.
Our Veterans Week of Golf is on Monday 25th April-Friday 29th April 2022. Entry forms are available at the club.
Our AGM will be held on Saturday 30th April at 9.45 for a 10am start, golf competition will be played immediately after we wrap things up. We need all members to attend please.
RAFFLES THIS WEEK WILL BE ON THURSDAY NIGHT DUE TO THE EASTER LONG WEEKEND. SUNDAY RAFFLES WILL BE AS NORMAL.

Wednesday Wackers 9.30am for 10am tee off…..$20.00 comp fees
Thursday Vets 9.30am for 10am tee off…………. $20.00 comp fees
Saturday 10am for 10.30 tee off……………………$20.00 comp fees
Sunday 9 hole comp 8.45am and no later than 10.45am tee off…..$10.00 comp fees
Next Saturday 16th April will be a single stableford.
