Carol’s Weekly Wrap 10/11/24
Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford event and the winner with 39pts was D J Button, r/up was Kirin Walters with 38pts. The orange ball went to Rhonda McIlveen. We also celebrated another milestone Birthday for Sir Les “I’m in a hurry” Forde who turned 97 today. Congratulations Les, you’re an inspiration to us all as you still play golf 3 times a week.
Thursday Vets played a single stableford event and the winner with 38pts was Mandy Stoddart on a c/b from Gerry Davis. The encouragement award went to Rhonda McIlveen.
Saturday was a single stableford event sponsored by Jimmy Walkinshaw and the winner with 44pts was Johnno Rodgers, r/up was David Carlon with 39pts on a c/b from Ross Anderson. The Mars Bar Award went to Mick McIlveen.
The Twilight Members draw is on Thursday Nights. You must be in the club to win.
Our Open weekend is coming up soon. Vet’s Open day Friday 22nd, Men’s Open 23rd and Mixed Open Sunday 24th November. There is a sheet on noticeboard for names or you can email the Vets Open nomination to ronandmarj@hotmail.com

AS WE ARE GETTING LARGER FIELDS NOW PLAYING, CAN WE PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE GOLF ETIQUETTE OF SLOW PLAY. EG: KEEP UP TO THE GROUP IN FRONT, 3MIN LIMIT LOOKING FOR BALL, PLAY READY GOLF.
Our golf competition fees are now $20.00 per comp round. Wednesday Whackers, Thursday Vets and Saturday Comps. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.
The Kitchen is open Tuesday – Sunday, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. No Sunday dinners, only lunch. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pickups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club will be now open from 10am till late on Tuesdays to Sunday. Closed Mondays.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday afternoon. Joker Jackpot is on Friday night.
