Carol’s Weekly Wrap 1/2/26
Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 40pts was Gerry Davis, r/up with 39pts was Dean Vickery. The encouragement award went to Carol Shields. One our male players hit off on the 13th tee and had 4 shots before he made the ladies tee (Duncan “Slim” McLean won’t forget that one).
Thursday’s Thirsty Medley played a single stableford and the winner with 42pts Mandy Stoddart r/up was Jenny Lisle with 40pts on a c/b from Sue Partridge. The encouragement award went to Anthony Swilks,
Saturday was the Hahn Superdry Monthly Mug and the winner with a great score of 63 was our junior Jett Williams, r/up was Jason Brady with 65. Out 98yr old Sir Les “I’m in a hurry” Forde shot under his age again with 97 off the stick 68 nett. Well done Les. The Mars Bar Award went to Henry Walters.
Save the date: Saturday 28th February is our presentation night, there is a sheet up on the notice board to place your names for catering purposes.
The sheet is up on the board for our Championships which will be held on 7th/8th and 14th/15th March.
Cart shed fees are also due by 31st March, please Ben for new form to fill when paying.
Thursday nights the kitchen does a curry night with different dishes each week. You can also order of the menu if you don’t want curries.
Our golf competition fees are now $20.00 per comp round. Wednesday Whackers, Thursday and Saturday Comps. All our golf times are 9.30am for 10am tee off. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.
AS WE ARE HAVING MORE PLAYERS AND SOCIAL PLAYERS ON OUR COURSE. PLEASE REMEMBER TO TAKE A SAND BUCKET WITH YOU AND FILL IN ANY DIVOTS ON THE FAIWAYS AND FIX PLUG MARKS ON THE GREENS. ALSO, IF YOU ARE A SOCIAL PLAYER, PLEASE PLAY OFF THE BLUE MARKERS.
The Kitchen is open 7 days a week, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pickups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club house is now open 7 days a week.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday afternoon. Joker Jackpot is on Friday night.
