Carol’s Weekly Wrap 17/11/24
Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford event and Jon Izzard thought he had won the day with 36pts, he then realised he had got beaten by a 97yr old (Les I’m in a hurry Forde) came in with 41pts. Les shot 95 which is 2 under his age. Well done Les. The orange ball went to Troy Johnson.
Thursday Vets played a Par event and the winner with +2pts was Michael Welbourn, r/up was Tony Park with 0. The encouragement award went to Karen Ketley.
Saturday was a 3 person Ambrose sponsored by Simon Cross, Julie & Owen Presnell from Walcha, and the winners with 58.66 were Jack Doran, Jayson and Karen Ketley. R/up were Bruce McMullen, Kim Burraston and Tony Duff. The Mars Bar Award went to James Moore and Gavin Strelitz.
The Twilight Members draw is on Thursday Nights. You must be in the club to win.
Our Open weekend is coming up soon. Vet’s Open day Friday 22nd, Men’s Open 23rd and Mixed Open Sunday 24th November. There is a sheet on noticeboard for names or you can email the Vets Open nomination to ronandmarj@hotmail.com

We have some big events happening in December, so save the dates for them. 5th December is our monster toy raffle. 13th December is Trim Charity Ambrose Golf Day. 14th December is our Presentation Night for our yearly golf events, also Mr T will be playing. 15th December is Monster Christmas Raffles with lots of Hams, Pork and Turkeys up for grabs.
Our golf competition fees are now $20.00 per comp round. Wednesday Whackers, Thursday Vets and Saturday Comps. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.
The Kitchen is open Tuesday – Sunday, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. No Sunday dinners, only lunch. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pickups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club will be now open from 10am till late on Tuesdays to Sunday. Closed Mondays.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday afternoon. Joker Jackpot is on Friday night.
