Carol’s Weekly Wrap 4/8/24
Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 39pts was Michael Welbourn, r/up with 36pts on a c/b was Kiran Walters from Greg Constance from Glen Innes. The encouragement award went to Steve Welbourn.
Thursday Vets played a single stableford and the winner 36pts was Vicki Barraclough, r/up with 34pts was Mike Petrov. The encouragement award went to Carol Shields.
Saturday was the monthly mug sponsored by Hahn Super Dry and the winner with 68 was Neil Free, r/up was Dactyl Carlon with 69. The Mars Bar Award went to Todd Jacobs.
Entries are now open for the Vets 4BBB Medley Open which will be on Thursday 15th August, 9am for 9.30 shotgun start. All enquiries to Mike Petrov on lone.petrov@gmail.com or phone 0448784761. There is a sheet on the notice board for all entries.
The ladies Keno Qualifier will be held next Sunday 11th August 9.30 for 10 hit off.
Our 4BBB Championships will be held on Saturday 17th August and Saturday 24th August. This event is a Men’s and Ladies separate comp, so you will need to organise your partner for this event.
The Keno Mixed Qualifier has been postponed until another day, stay tuned for more details.
The second round of Match Play are now due to be played by 1st August, but Jon has extended it due to the condition of the course until 24th August.

AS WE ARE GETTING LARGER FIELDS NOW PLAYING, CAN WE PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE GOLF ETIQUETTE OF SLOW PLAY. EG: KEEP UP TO THE GROUP IN FRONT, 3MIN LIMIT LOOKING FOR BALL, PLAY READY GOLF.
Our golf competition fees are now $20.00 per comp round. Wednesday Whackers, Thursday Vets and Saturday Comps. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.
The Kitchen is open Tuesday – Sunday, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. No Sunday dinners, only lunch. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pickups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club will be now open from 10am till late on Tuesdays to Sunday. Closed Mondays.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday mornings. Joker Jackpot is on Friday nights and the members draw is on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.
