Sorry for no reports for a few weeks, I have had a lot happening personally.
Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 39pts on a c/b was Crewy Cameron from Tim Beaumont. The orange ball went Rhonda McIlveen.
Thursday the Vets played the last round of pennants at Walcha and the yearly winners were Glen Innes followed by Guyra. It was good to see so many players supporting their clubs. Until next year, happy golfing.
Saturday was the Monthly Mug and the winner with 70 was Neil “Splitty” Cullen, r/up was Tim Bower with 71, also Congratulations to Tim who also had a hole in one on the 15th. The Mars Bar award went to Nicholas Matthews.
The winter shootout final will be played on Sunday 23rd June, the top 19 players qualify.
There is a meeting at 6pm on Wednesday 29th May at the club for the vote of the new Golf Committee.
AS WE ARE GETTING LARGER FIELDS NOW PLAYING, CAN WE PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE GOLF ETIQUETTE OF SLOW PLAY. EG: KEEP UP TO THE GROUP IN FRONT, 3MIN LIMIT LOOKING FOR BALL, PLAY READY GOLF.
Our golf competition fees are now $20.00 per comp round. Wednesday Whackers, Thursday Vets and Saturday Comps. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.
The Kitchen is open Tuesday – Sunday, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. No Sunday dinners, only lunch. Take aways are also available.
Our Courtesy Bus is available for pickups and drop offs, contact the club for details.
The club will be now open from 10am till late on Tuesdays to Sunday. Closed Mondays.
Raffles are onFriday nights and Sunday mornings. Joker Jackpot is on Friday nights and the members draw is on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.
