Well Les Forde did not turn up to play on Wednesday so I cannot mention him this week, but I sure can mention Bryan McNamara who managed his first hole-in-one on the 15th. This came after a miss on the 14th so congratulations Bryan on achieving every golfer’s dream.
Peter (Dicko) Dixon won the day on Wednesday with 40 points, so obviously he decided not to go through with his threat to give the stupid game away, tomorrow he will probably talking like a professional and giving everyone advice. Well done Dicko. Kevin Ward continued his recent good form to take second place with 37 after a countback with Ross Anderson. Dan Riley finished third.
The Thursday Vet’s comp saw Lil Faulkner win the day with 37 points. Runner-up was Albert Egli and the consistent Ian Duncan was third. With 36 and 35 respectivily. Maybe the old girl might stop complaining she doesn’t have enough handicap now, but I guess probably not.
Crewy Cameron was the sponsor for Satuarday’s stableford and good scores were the order of the day. Darrell Carson won with 44 points from Rob Brown 43 and Trevor Wilson 39 was next best. The ball comp went down to 36 and Vicki Barraclough was the best of the ladies with 35.
NTP winners was RAB 3rd K-Mart, NAB 6th Rob Brown, Rob Brown’s Debenture Clinic, 15th Joe Harty and the Bridges Finance 17th Rob Brown again. Once again Colleen had a better score than Sparra, she must be getting sick beating him all the time.
