The Nundle Burglar, Robbie Porter, was back at it again last Wednesday, this time with 38 points he was a clear winner over Tony, Popeye, Whiting 34 points and Kirin Walters also had 34 as well as winning the NTP on the 15th.
The big story of the day though was my old mate Les, I’m in a hurry, Forde who on this occasion could only manage 26 and that score gave him the orange ball for next week.
Popeye continued the good form and took out the Thursday vet’s event, this time with 39 points from John Holthouse and Margaret Macready. The cold weather played havoc with several players and they failed to finish the course.
Steve Bishop from The House Of Golf in Coffs Harbour sponsored the day on Saturday and his sponsorship is much appreciated. Steve had a lot of golf equipment available for sale on the day and we look forward to him coming back again soon.
Chris Chaffey was the winner of the day with the sensational score of 48 points to be 9 points clear of the field. Kirin Walters had 39 to be second just ahead of Ross Anderson 38 and Bruce the Gnome 37.
NTP winners were RAB 3rd Ross Anderson, NAB 6th and Bridges Finance 17th both to Barry Cameron, Geoff Wood won the 9th and Tony Duff the Rob Brown Denture Clinic 15th. Trevor Carson won the Mars Bar with 23 points.
