Darrell’s Weekly Wrap 8th July 2018

A good field hit off in the Wednesday stableford and it was Garry Mackaway who won the day with a solid 39 points. The consistent Crewy Cameron was next best with 38, and Bruce the Gnome had 37. Nobody however managed to claim the NTP and it will remain on the 3rd hole next week. Dan Riley found out it is not far from the PENT HOUSE to the OUT HOUSE when he finished up with the orange ball to play with next week.

Herb McMillan won the Thursday veterans stableford from Geoff Wood and Tony (Popeye) Whiting. Mike Petrov won the NTP on the 3rd hole. Best of the ladies was Susie Spencer.

Aaron Whackett was the sponsor for an individual stableford last Saturday and a very good field hit off, including some visitors from both Armidale and Walcha.

The winner of the day was Neil Cullen with 36 points but only after a countback with Dan Riley. Barry Cameron was next best after another countback with Tiger Clutterbuck.

NTP winners were; RAB 3rd and the 9th both to Robbie Porter, NAB 6th Chalkie Chandler, 11th and the Rob Brown Denture Clinic 15th both to Craig Hyde and the Bridges Finance 17th to Tony Duff.

I will be away all of this week so I will not have a report for you but will return the week after.

Quote of the week ”No man has a good enough memory to make a successful liar.”

Good Golfing.
