On a sad note I should like to, on behalf of all members, pass our sympathies to Bruce (The Gnome) McMullen and family after the recent loss of his mother. Bruce know our thoughts are with you. Former club Captain Dave Mitchell also lost a sister, (Anne) this week and I also offer our sympathy to Dave and his family.
Next Saturday is the Annual Fire Brigade charity day. I understand it will be a 4 person Ambrose so try and organize a team and support this very worthwhile cause.
Finally you will recall I have many times mentioned the Baby Boomers Show on Saturday night. Well those of you missed out on a sensational night. I have not had one negative comment and I know most of the people there spent the night laughing and really enjoying themselves.
Quote of the week. ”Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.”
