Darrell’s Weekly Wrap 21st April 2018

The Nundle Burglar winning on a Wednesday is becoming almost as monotonous as Les Forde breaking his age. Robbie Porter had a fine 43 points, (71 off the stick) to be a clear winner. His Saturday 4 Ball mate Neil Free was next best with 37 and nobody managed to hit the 11th to claim the NTP. Next Wednesday being ANZAC day there will be a Club competition instead of the usual Wednesday Wackers.

Colleen Taggart won the Thursday vet’s competition with 38 points leading a day of domination for the lady players. Ladies filled the first three places with Judy Marshall, 36 and Rhonda McIlveen (Armidale) third with 34.  Jack Mitchell was the best of the men with 33.

Armidale visitor, Lindsay Wittig won the Don Plummer sponsored day on Saturday with a very solid 39 points. Local Captain was second with 38 and Craig (Hobit) Hyde was next best with 37 after a countback with Neil Free.

NTP winners were, RAB 3rd Shane Barraclough, NAB 6th Nathan Carson 11th Geoff Wood, Rob Brown Denture Clinic 15th Craig Morgan (Armidale) and Geoff Wood won the  bridges Finance 17th.

Quote of the week “It is impossible to make anything foolproof because fools are so ingenious”.

Good Golfing .
