A very good field hit off last Wednesday and it was Rowan(Chalkie) Chandler who won the day. Chalkie had 41 points to count out Herb McMillan with Darrell Carson, 40 points finishing 3rd. Jim Walkinshaw won the NTP.
The Wednesday Wacker’s will not play on the 24th because of the vet’s week of golf. Things will get back to normal again on May 1st.
The Thursday Vet’s competition saw a continuation of the good scores; this Jack Mitchell had a massive 44 points to easily win from Bob Brown, 36 and Terry Mitchell, MacLean Golf Club, finish 3rd.
Don Plummer was the sponsor for Saturday’s stableford and junior Cooper Smith had a massive 45 points to be a clear winner from Vicki Barraclough 41. Neil free took 3rd spot after a countback from Russell (Mike Petrov) and the Big Bird Sparra Taggart.
NTP winners were NAB 6th Cooper Smith, Rob Brown Denture Clinic 15thand Vicki Barraclough the Bridges Finance 17th.
This coming week seeks our annual Veteran’s week of golf so the course will be busy each day with many visitors from many different parts of Australia.
Also the last reminder about the AGM which is being held at 10 am next Sunday and it would be great to see a good turnout. So come along and show your support. The Club’s financial figure area available on the website and there are a few hard copies available at the club.
